One might ask oneself why the things you see on the Empire Empire online store aren’t as cheap as what you find at Walmart. That’s a reasonable question. The answer is that when you shop at Walmart, you are buying things that are made by slaves, in miserable conditions, thousands of miles away. Everything you find on this site, by contrast, is made by hand by artists either from recycled and salvaged materials, or using materials from companies with iron-clad commitments to environmental and labor responsibility.
